Mistletoe Market Returns Nov. 9-11 to Historic Abingdon

Held in the Grand Hall of the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center (Interstate 81 at Exit 14), Mistletoe Market features retail merchants from across the Southeast.

For only $5 daily admission at the door, shoppers can browse booths filled with gifts for all occasions. This year's market includes new merchants as well as returning favorites. Gifts available for sale will include interior and decorative items, holiday and gourmet foods, pottery, antiques and collectibles, silver, jewelry, clothing, toys and much more.

Hours are Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Ample parking is available, free of charge, and the Mistletoe Café, catered by the Troutdale Dining Room, will be open daily.

As in past years, a Prevue Gala, sponsored by BB&T, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, as a related event of MISTLETOE MARKET. From 7 to 10 p.m., partygoers will enjoy seasonal music, cocktails and heavy hors d‚oeuvres amid sparkling décor. Dress is black tie optional for this annual holiday fundraiser. Tickets are $75 per person, which includes the added benefit of advance shopping ˜ prior to the markets official opening the following morning ˜while selections are best. Gala ticket holders are also admitted to Mistletoe free of charge throughout the three-day event.
