Chattanooga, TN, celebrates fine
crafts October 3-4 |
More than 80 acclaimed American artisans will be
represented at a Celebration of Fine Craft in downtown Chattanooga, TN, October 3-4.
The event takes place at Ross Landing, Saturday 10-6, and Sunday 11-6. The juried
show is produced by the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (TACA).
From brilliantly colored hand-blown glass bowls to burnished hand-hewn wooden chairs
and hand-wrought willow furniture, the show is not to be missed by those who appreciate
one-of-a-kind objects and unique items for the home. There will also be a wide selection
of hand-woven wearables and jewelry, and raku vases, contemporary clay pots, sculpture,
photography and much more.
TACA the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists, is an independent non-profit
organization founded in 1965 to encourage, develop and promote crafts and craftspeople in
Tennessee. Representing 600 members statewide, TACA received the Governors Award in
the Arts in recognition of its service, connecting crafts and people for more than 30
years. TACA is funded in part by the Tennessee Arts Commission.
