The third annual Radford Highlanders Festival will enliven the city of Radford, VA, on October 19. Held jointly by the city of Radford and Radford University, the festival celebrates Southwest Virginia’s Scots-Irish heritage and Appalachian traditions. Activities include traditional Celtic and contemporary entertainment with Highlander games, music, dancing, crafts, storytelling and food.
