The public once again will have an opportunity to view and purchase the best work that artists in Western North Carolina have to offer. The 11th annual Transylvania Fine Art and Craft Exhibition will be July 5-18 inside the Spiers Art Gallery in the Sims Art Center on the Brevard College campus in Brevard, NC.

The Transylvania Fine Art and Craft Exhibition began in 1987 as a juried exhibition held at Brevard College. Until 1995 it was open only to Transylvania County residents but expanded in 1996 to include artists from neighboring counties that have partnered with the Transylvania Arts Council in other projects. In 1998, artists who reside in Transylvania, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Polk and Macon counties are eligible to exhibit.
