A Wee Bit of the Scottish Highlands in North Carolina

With early mornings mist rising from the lochs and white rhododendron blossoms snowing down upon the forest floor, the high mountains of Western North Carolina beckon the ancient spirits. In answer to the call, hundreds of tartan banners will unfurl, the sounds of bagpipes will echo, once again, through the glen, and thousands of kilt-clad Scots will make their way to the circle of colorful tents at the base of Grandfather Mountain.

Nowhere in the New World is there a place more reminiscent of the Scottish highlands than here at the home of America's grandest Highland Games.

We want to welcome you and your family to join in the Grandfather Mountain Highland Scottish celebration. This is the largest Scottish clan gathering in the world.
